Full width corner angles are incorporated as a belt and braces feature to protect the corners from parting

The top frame design uses mitred corners that are screwed 

The underside of the planter is braced with the timber spread evenly to take the load

Table Engineering

Table legs are made from quarter sawn H5 posts glued and screwed.

A full width structural element is added to further strengthen the leg

Legs are screwed using 75mm Galv fasteners 

Glued using Purbond HBS 109

The wood will break before the glue

Full width bracing elements spaced evenly to stop the timber from bowing over time, these are again glued and screwed 

90mmk Slat supports glued and double screwed to stop cupping of the slat

10mm spacers between each slat
